Oh yes. It's a numbers thing. The US has an exceptionally high infection rates. When the pandemic is over, the gates will open.

Bear in mind, many countries aren't even letting UK people travel there, and it has a 7 day average of around 1,000 new cases per day ie 1/50th the US, or 1/10th per capita.

No one wants to reimport the pandemic from places where it is going on.
