Numbers today look as bad as they did yesterday. I wonder if the top line new cases number will be 60k.

The president, who is a buffoon without compare, is apparently thinking he should be getting credit for what he sees as an economic recovery.

The recovery isn't sustainable if it creates the environment for the pandemic to spread. Trump wasted trillions of dollars because he didn't wait for containment.

The pandemic must be contained first. How difficult is this?

This is a record for the number of new cases anywhere in one day. It's a record which Brazil held.

Who is the worse president? Bolsonaro or Trump?

Maybe it's time to rid the world of Putin's strongmen. Apparently, they are not all they were cracked up to be. Democracy and the rule of law may be messy. But in the end, they muddle through. Dictatorial types, not so much. The deficiency that makes such people what they are, vain to the point of lacking all restraint, also seems to be hopeless at admitting the damage pandemics do.
