Good question, Micro. Once you can get people to VOLUNTARILY choose servitude, or pretty near anything, it becomes hard for most of them to admit they were wrong...that they made a mistake.
I think we live in a society in which -- as individuals -- people cannot admit they made a mistake.
Now, when they actually DIDN'T make a mistake, when they are right or completely innocent, it is different: they are compelled to admit responsibility under critical race theory and other socialist-religious doctrines. If they don't, they lose their membership in the collective! That is the price of admission.
So you get even engineers, philosophers, and mathematicians (trained logicians) going along with all manner of intellectual rat-poison.
