The New York state court system is historically very slow in its disposal of cases, primarily because, unlike federal courts, both sides are given more time and opportunities to file motions and responses. It's very possible that if indictments are soon issued in either Georgia or Washington, that these cases could be in front of juries before Trump or his lawyers see the inside of a NY courtroom.
