Well analyzed, Zim. Hat Tip - much better than my dismissive tirade.

What would we do if another superpower was using Canada or Mexico to launch long-range missiles at us?
>>>

So, why is it nobody seems the least bit concerned about the never-ending barrage of missiles launched by hezbollah and hamas from gaza and lebanon at Israel?

>>>
Their strategic nuclear arsenal is far superior to our own, their anti-missile systems are far superior to our own, and the subs that they would use to deliver a devastating first strike are so quiet that we cannot even track them effectively.
>>>

I doubt all of the above very seriously. Most of Russia's 'nuclear sub fleet' vanished after the old USSR imploded. Russia has not had a whole lot of money to improve, or even maintain, their 'nuclear arsenal'. And if Russia has such great anti-missile systems . . how come Ukraine's use of long range weaponry was so effective?

In the meantime, the U.S. and Israel managed to shoot down almost ALL of the missiles iran launched at Israel - twice. So who REALLY has the better anti-missile hardware?

>>>
Because right now we are closer to nuclear war than we have ever been, and the death and destruction that a full-blown nuclear war would cause would be unthinkable.
>>>

Anybody else remember the 'Cuban Missile Crisis'?

No sir.
Putin needs to contemplate the 'level of death and destruction' that a full blown nuclear exchange would visit upon Russia. And ask himself "Is conquering Ukraine really worth all this?"

Zim.
