My last name is from Alexandria.......and an Aegean island, grandfather side....

When I was 8, we lived for a year in Tehran, Iran, and the first time I went out in the neighborhood to play with other kids there, when they found out I was Greek the first word they said to me was "Alexander". Never forgot that.
