Listening to him reminds me why I used to be proud, rather than ashamed, to be an American citizen & why I used to give even politicians I didn't agree with the benefit of basic respect. Even if you are sure you won't agree with Rand Paul, and would never vote for him, I ask that you LISTEN to him for a few minutes...listen to REASON.

I'd sincerely like to hear from anyone -- Clo? -- what is not to like about the fact that Rand Paul gave this speech. Who could possibly object to open debate before rubber stamping this renewal of suspension of important pieces of the Bill of Rights?
