I live on the Gluf coast and only buy fresh shrimp. For crab cakes, I buy canned lump crab. I mostly eat fish and shell fish. Like pork too, but not beef.
On a can of lump crab, there's a good recipe for crab cakes.
RR, I've been on a shrimp kick lately...let me know if you make it...I was looking for Joe's Stone Crabs Crab Cake recipe & gonna try it w/ shrimp tonight but it's gone....good thing it's on Joe's website!!
