Most of the time we played until dark. When you are a kid, a little heat is not a problem.

...yep, and just about dusk ya could catch lightning bugs.

Under a tree or on the porch. Most of the time we played until dark. When you are a kid, a little heat is not a problem. They are now saying the next seven days here will be hot (above 100) and dry. If we get lucky that storm in the Gulf will come this way. It will not be lucky for the folks on the coast but it could bring us some rain.
