BREAKING: 12 arrested as UK prime minister vows to get tough after London Bridge rampage
U.K. police say they have arrested 12 people in raids following the deadly rampage in the heart of London on Saturday night.
Earlier, British Prime Minister Theresa May vowed that "things need to change" after the van-and-knife attack in the London Bridge area.
"We cannot and must not pretend that things can continue as they are,” she said in a strongly worded statement to reporters outside her official residence on Sunday. “There is — to be frank — far too much tolerance of extremism in our country.”
