With regard to your first outburst of stupidity ... read the 8th Amendment, dumbass:

"Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted."

This is the 8th Amendment of THE U.S. CONSTITUTION, which is the highest law in the land, so lil' guy ... yes, it is THE LAW that the government cannot inflict cruel and unusual punishment.

As for your pathetically ignorant reference to Gitmo, the prisoners there are captured enemy combatants, not citizens or lawful residents of the United States. And, in spite of that fact, the government is not inflicting cruel and unusual punishment on them, but rather is taking proper care of them, while they are incarcerated to prevent them from waging further warfare against us.

As to your second outburst of stupidity, I did NOT say that prisoners have a right to health care ... in fact, I stated quite the opposite. All of us have the personal responsibility to work and earn our own way in this world ... and that includes earning the money we need to pay for the health care services we want ... just like every other service we may desire ... we have to pay for it - period. Receiving the personal services of others is NOT an inalienable right - period. And, as for this gem of brainlessness:

"And where does it say we should only treat humanely prisoners but not all citizens?"

Quite simply, the 8th Amendment does not say anything of the sort. Your problem of abject ignorance is born of the fact that you are a libtard who stupidly equates "government-paid health care services" with "humane treatment." No, lil' tyke ... WE are responsible for earning and paying for the health care services we and our family members receive ... it is not a right; it is a service we pay for ... GOT IT, dipsh!t? Incarcerated prisoners are not in a position to earn money to pay for their health care services; therefore, while they are locked up, the government has to provide for those basic services. Once they are freed, the responsibility is back on their own shoulders, just like everybody else.

Thus endeth yet another lesson for you, zzfart. Aren't you glad I'm around to help with your education, lil' guy?

Cheers!
