Mandatory and Kushner were part of the campaign, and he acted on their behalf, got them to the meeting, and the reason for it was Russian dirt on Hillary.

And Trump Sr has said NOTHING in defense of his son. Could it be that the White House has found the perfect scapegoat?

Technically he was not part of the campaign.

He's not a member of the Trump administration.

Trump Sr has always claimed that he never really talks with his son all that much.

And Mueller will still get his chance to "hang a trophy" on his wall with the "Trump" name below it.
