Fitst, I do not like the politics or moral character (well documented womanizer) of John McCain.

I stumbled across the 'release' last Aug, 2016 of a recording supposedly made by John McCain in 1969 while he was a POW, including several 'opinion pieces' that McCain was 'a traitor'.

For those so inclined, here they are:

Supposed CIA recording of John McCain statement that has been labeled the 'Tokyo Rose Recording of Vietnam';

One of innumerable posts calling McCain a 'traitor':

OK - enough of that. I was tempted to jump on the bandwagon (as i have in the past wrt McCain) - but decided to dig a little further before possibly 'bearing false witness' against my neighbour.

1. The recording is extremely poor quality. in no way can I ascertain that it really is the voice of John McCain.

2. The injuries John McCain received were real, and lasting.

3. The clincher however is a five minute statement from one of his cell mates. I will let that video speak for itself.

My conclusion: The words of the cellmate have infinitely more credibility with me than those that wish to and continue to call John McCain a traitor.

I'll take this opportunity to also retract a post I made recently about the State Department removing the word 'genocide' from Government Speeches and communications when speaking about the atrocities and crimes being carried out against Christians, Yazidis, and other religions in muslim nations. The State Department DID however refuse for years (until 2015) to acknowledge it or refer to it as genocide.

The reason for the retraction:

1. The State Department heard the accusation, and categorically, across the board, denied that such was currently happening.

2. Brietbart took the time to go through the State Department website and found NO SUCH DELETIONS; the genocide references are still there and have not been changed.

It behooves me to take care, and a step back, at times. Too many lies are told by too many people, and it is getting even harder to find truth. Liars are very good at polishing their turds.

And the 'left' are the masters of turd polishing.
