Note that the Audio of Seymour Hersh was published on JULY 11th - but the news is just now breaking out on multiple websites about what the recording contains. The Rod Wheeler lawsuit appears to have stimulated all the interest, and the WaPo has ALREADY been caught lying about Hersh 'recanting'. It isn't true. Hersh only dismisses as gossip that Rich was murdered over the Wikileaks ... that is what none of the 'npr editing' allows to be published - only the 'gossip' part, not that it is ONLY about the murder. DAMN they obfuscated it big time - took me a while to get there.
Won't reprint the articles that are breaking - but here is one of the better ones published today (I quote it partially in my ramblings below.) This is a difficult story to get to the 'truth'. Like I said, there is a HELL OF A LOT OF SMOKE BEING BLOWN.

Bottom Line: Seymour Hersh recording blows the lid off of Russia Gate. He is talking to Butowski (i think). The recording was made in Feb, published to you-tube on July 11. Note that is when the MMS started getting real quiet about Russia-gate and the WaPo started admitting there was nothing there. They realize that there was
NO RUSSIAN HACKING. SETH RICH DID INDEED LEAK THE E-MAILS TO WIKILEAKS.
Pretty well proven, imo. Seymour Hersh is pretty damned reliable - and a left-leaner to boot. But an honest one - unlike most.
Listen to the recording, if nothing else. It is pretty damning.

Seymour claims to have accessed the FBI docs on what the FBI FOUND ON SETH RICH's COMPUTER. Confirms that SETH RICH WAS THE WIKILEAKS SOURCE.
A hell of a lot more credible than the now self-proclaimed and self-admitted liar Rod Wheeler.
Hmmm ... several people, including Wheeler, claim that Hersh walked back his own claims in an NPR interview. I can't find it - maybe ya'll will have better luck.
Hmmm ... Just caught the 'double-speak' from the FBI ...
FBI: A spokeswoman for the FBI tells NPR this week that the agency has played no part in the investigation of the unsolved homicide.
That is consistent in all the sources. NOTE carefully what it says:
... no part in the investigation of the unsolved homicide
The fbi does NOT deny that they have examined Seth Rich's computer - just that they are playing no part in the investigation of the unsolved homicide.

At some point before or during February, Butowsky apparently speaks with veteran journalist Seymour Hersh, who Butowsky says indicated a link between Rich and the FBI. Hersh told Folkenflik it was “gossip” and that Butowsky “took two and two and made forty-five out of it.”
Oddly enough, this story was amended to include the contradictory quote from Hersh, as an archived version of the story says this:

Seymour Hersh and The Washington Post can say whatever they like, but this audio file of Seymour Hersh is not”fake news,” it happened. Now Seymour Hersh could go back and retract his statement, but as of right now that audio file is as damning as it comes. In it, Hersh claims:
He was read an FBI file on Seth Rich by someone on the inside.
This document mentions that Seth Rich communicated with Wikileaks.
In an odd twist, Seth Rich apparently offers sample files to Wikileaks, and then asks for money in order to send more.
It appears Wikileaks does not comply and pay, but instead they access the leaked documents in another manner.
The FBI files alleges that Seth Rich uploaded these files to a Dropbox account.
Seymour Hersh then says that either two things happened: Wikileaks hacked into Dropbox and got the files, or a ‘Dead Man’s Switch’ happened.
Seth Rich apparently told friends about this account and said “if anything happens to me…” regarding the account.
