WV’s Democratic Governor to Switch to GOP at Trump Rally
West Virginia’s newly elected Democratic Gov. Jim Justice will reportedly stand beside President Trump at a Thursday night rally in Huntington, W.V., and announce that he is switching to the Republican Party. According to The New York Times, the billionaire coal and real-estate magnate will make his announcement in front of the thousands of Trump supporters expected to show up for the Appalachia-region rally. Justice was a Republican until 2015, when he switched his affiliation and eventually ran for governor as a conservative Democrat. (He declined to endorse Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election.)
