...a store next door to a telephone co office I used to work in got robbed. The cops was loading the perp into an ambulance for a ride to the morgue when I saw it. A few days later I happened to be in the store. I asked the owner what happened. After a little coaxing he told me that when he opened the store the guy just ran up behind him stuck a gun in his ribs and forced the store owner inside with him. Took all the money and started to flee. When the robber got to the door the store owner says, "Hey, ya forgot something?" The robber turned around with the money in one hand and the gun in the other when the store owner shot him in the middle of the chest with a .357 magnum.

...I asked him why he did it that way. He told me that years back he had shot a holdup man in the back when he was fleeing and they tried to throw him under the jail for it.

...keep it in mind.
