This is a good reason to put in a greenhouse and stock up on those full-spectrum light bulbs. It can double as a tanning salon. You can sell doses of 'sunshine' to neighbors you like.

Fifty miles by 12 miles. We'd probably see the fireworks here in NY. Yuck, the wind blows this way. I'm going with this, for now:
