NORTH BEND, Ore. -- If you use PenAir to travel around the Northwest, you'll have to make other arrangements.
The Alaska-based company just filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
The company says the move will make PenAir a stronger airline.
Last Friday, PenAir announced the termination of Pacific Northwest routes.
The routes being canceled are between Portland and Redding, Eureka-Arcata, North Bend/Coos Bay and Klamath Falls.
Flights between Portland and Crescent City will continue as scheduled.

Realist - Everybody in America is soft, and hates conflict. The cure for this, both in politics and social life, is the same -- hardihood. Give them raw truth.
