What makes me feel he was a 'fake news purveyor' ?

Shortly after the Tet Offensive Cronkite was on the news giving
the viet cong a 'major victory' . . . When in reality after Tet the
viet cong no longer had useful forces in S. Vietnam.
Charlie cong lost every battle in Tet. Charlie achieved no objectives, and the Marines at Khe Sanh
demonstrated the resolve of the American Fighting Man.
