UPDATE: *Now* I see that ribit already posted this story. #msg-1009507 Oh well. I'd have wanted to comment on it even if he hadn't.
I'm not at all surprised - since I've long known 'Democrat' to be vaguely synonymous with 'Cheater', 'Thug,' 'Scumbag,' 'Simpleton,' 'Slacker,' 'Thief,' 'Murderer' and 'Traitor.' Democrats are generally not very savory people - though I always try to remember that there's one more synonym: 'Confused.'

College Democrat Sentenced To Jail For Voter Fraud
"...submitting fraudulent voter registration forms..."

A college student was sentenced to jail Tuesday after pleading guilty to registering dead voters for the Democratic Party.
Andrew J. Spieles, a 21-year-old student at James Madison University, was handed a 100-day prison sentence in federal court for deliberately transferring incorrect Virginia voter registration forms during the 2016 election.
Spieles worked for Harrisonburg Votes, an organization affiliated with the Democratic Party.
He was paid to register as many voters in the area as he could and then report them to Democratic campaign headquarters in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
His job duties included filling out registration forms and entering them into a computer system. A staffer would then hand-deliver a paper copy of the forms to the Harrisonburg registrar’s office.
However, an employee at the registrar’s office noticed something odd about an individual listed on one of the forms.
A registered name belonged to a dead father of a Rockingham County judge.
After the deceased name drew the attention of the staff, the office soon discovered numerous falsified information on the forms created by Spieles.
The registration forms were riddled with names of dead people, incorrect birth dates and Social Security numbers, and even wrong middle names.
Upon this discovery, the office promptly alerted law enforcement.
Altogether, Spieles admitted to falsifying 18 Virginia voter registration forms in August 2016.
The fraud was punishable by up to a year in prison and a fine upwards of $100,000, but the Democratic college student was able to reach a plea agreement with Assistant U.S. Attorney Jeb Terrien that stipulated he would serve only 100 to 120 days behind bars.
Due to his inability to pay the fine, the judge waived any fees relating to the crime. He will also not have to serve probation following his sentence.
Speiles has said he acted alone and was not directed by anyone in the party to produce the fake information.
