...there are things that should be paid for out of the social security budget and things that should not. When there were surpluses our gubmint could not keep it's hands off the money. It used the money collected from working stiffs to pay for projects that should have been paid for by everyone. The fatcats like this especially since when social security ran short of money the money was/is being repaid by higher social security taxes on working stiffs. Fatcats get a pass. Ya want to fix social security? Pay the social security fund back what ya owe it from general revenues and then take the cap off earnings to be taxed.
Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!
