Things got interesting around 10:30 this morning, but it looks like the police were successful in separating the two groups. The "Alt-right" protestors - who were there legally, btw, having obtained a permit for their rally - seem to be in a completely different part of town than the "Black Lives Matter" protestors - who have no permit. Neither group is in Emancipation Park (formerly Lee Park) where the statue of Robert E. Lee is being removed and where the legal rally was supposed to be held.
I wonder how long it is until the blacks figure out that they are no longer situated to confront the White Nationalists? In that sense, the White Nationalists now have the upper hand. They can rally without disruption.
But in another sense, the Press is mostly covering the black protestors. That's because the Press is sympathetic to the blacks, imo, and prefer to show how peaceful their rally is.
If this goes on for long, I suspect everyone is going to get bored and just go home.
