Even though I realize I am "preaching to the choir" ... allow me a few comments, if I may, my lady:
1. The "Right" does not include the likes of the KKK and other so-called "white supremacist groups." You have to remember factual history ... which is why history is so terribly important ... the KKK was a construct from deep within the Democrat Party. The Democrat Party lovingly nurtured the KKK and members of the Democrat Party actively and enthusiastically participated in the KKK. Woodrow Wilson was an unabashed racist and Robert C. Byrd was a Grand Kleagle and Exalted Cyclops in the KKK. Only when the KKK became a liability ... and after the Republicans in Congress, over the strenuous objections of many, many Democrats in Congress, passed The Civil Rights Act of 1964 ... did Democrats revise history and lie through their collective teeth to try to detach the KKK from their own blackened, diseased souls and disingenuously attempt to associate it with the "Right."
2. The Nazi Party - "neo" or otherwise - is not of the "Right" - never has been. This is yet another disingenuous, psychological projection (Saul Alinsky would be proud!) of the Left's very own psychoses onto its enemy - the "Right." NAZI stands for The Nationalist German SOCIALIST Workers' Party. "Left" and "Right" are poor descriptors ... IMHO, the better descriptors are "Statists" and "Classical Liberals." "Statists" believe in and promote the supremacy of the State, and "Classical Liberals" believe in and promote the supremacy of the individual. Socialists, Fascists, Marxists, Communists of all flavors (Leninists, Trotskyites, Stalinists, Maoists, etc.), and the Democrat Party - commonly known as the "Left" - are all Statists. And, there are most certainly also Statists who are members of the Republican Party ... which is another reason why I think "Left" and "Right" are poor descriptors. Classical Liberals are those who believe the State is subservient to the rights of its individual citizens.
3. The narrative of the Statists is pure, unadulterated psychological projection ... a hypocritical lie of epic proportions ... a lie that is told often enough and big enough (taking the advice of yet another Statist hero - Joseph Goebbels) will take on the appearance of "truth," when in fact, it is still simply a miserable lie. Therefore, I submit to you, Linda, that the Classical Liberals can stay home and duct tape their mouths for added measure, and the Statists will still subject them to their heinous lies and propaganda (their "narrative"). In fact, they will agitate the most feeble-minded among them into "action" ... the KKK, the neo-Nazis, the Skinheads, the whatever - who Classical Liberals have already denounced in no uncertain terms ... and then claim that these dregs of society are actually agents of the "Left's" nebulous "Right" - the Classical Liberals. So, while I agree that Classical Liberals do not need to show up in the streets to literally do battle with the Statist thugs of Antifa and BLM ... however, if these Statist thugs physically threaten my business property, my residential property, and/or my family members, I will be more than happy to spray them with lead ... BUT, Classical Liberals should definitely NOT shy away and should step up their efforts to do lawful battle in the arena of ideas to rationally present the facts that reveal the BIG LIE in the narrative of the Statists.
Okay ... I'll step off my soapbox, now.
