OK, the eclipse is over and we had overcast conditions here in York, NE, but I still got some pretty good pictures. Here is the best one taken during the period of totality using my Sony a6000 24MP Mirrorless camera with a 400mm lens. Camera settings were f11.0, 1/4 sec exposure at ISO400 (this is a full frame shot, it has NOT been cropped):
We made it to York at about 2:00pm. They say the population of the town will nearly double by tomorrow, to well over 10,000 people. A couple of the adjoining counties have already run out of gas (we filled-up just before we arrived).
It's bright and sunny today. Now if that will just hold out for tomorrow as well.
