I think we should set up one large, highly defensible base with no more than 5,000 soldiers with lots of attack helicopters, WartFrogs, and other aerial weapons systems. If the Taliban want to attack the base, fine ... let 'em come and kick the brick wall with their bare feet. Otherwise, when we locate troublemakers, we drop daisy cutters on 'em from above.
Oh ... and one other thing ... when we round up illegal aliens here in the U.S. ... I think we send them to Afghanistan to cultivate and harvest our own poppy fields. They process the opium and we sell it in Russia, China, North Korea, Cuba, Venezuela, Iran, Syria, etc.
