Has the entire world entered the Twilight Zone ?

Not one word on the basic economics of how another 'new' fiat currency could possibly 'reinvigorate' the Italian Economy. Not a single one.

How does a CURRENCY, any currency, ever, in a million years MAKE AN economy grow ? Money, backed by actual value, can FACILITATE trade/transactions making it easier to grow -but the money does not CAUSE growth.

And a different money, in an economy which already has a money system, does not even make trade/transactions easier. Thus this malarky about a CURRENCY 'causing/increasing' growth is absolute horse feathers.

And people buy this nonsense ?
