The federal flood insurance program is $20 billion in the red, it is underfunded because they don't ...fund it.

At some point they have to stop bullshitting with gays and transgenders and "heritage", and start focusing on solving real peoples problems.

I have flood insurance for my place in south Florida, I just hope I won't have to use it. The place won't flood, but a blown piece of roof could allow lots of water to come in. Of course, if the roof is blown away, who cares about ...water....OTOH, I do not keep anything I couldn't lose there. Everything is replaceable, it's only money.

Ted Cruz is an asshat, just like the cretins.

...back during hurricane Sandy Ted Cruz and some others voted against relief because 2/3 of the money did not go to the folks who needed relief. If the relief for Texas has an equivalent amount of pork in it and ted cruz votes for it then old ted will be a hypocrite. If it doesn't have the pork in it the voting for it won't say anything about him one way or the other. I don't particularly like old Ted. He strikes me as the kind of guy who would vote the county dry and then move. (voting the country dry means making alcohol sales illegal for those who don't know).
