Africa (Where Irma was birthed) tend to curl North,
and occasionally hammer the Eastern seaboard.
Virginia Beach (where I am) usually sees some protection
from Cape Hatteras (where North Carolina sticks out
into the Atlantic) . . . but the ones that 'get us'
tend to start way to the East.
