Funny you you should mention Nashville. My cousin lived in Ft Meyers. They had a really nice place there. They decided to ride out Charlie and it ripped the side off the indoor pool and they honestly thought they were going to die. They didn't want that to happen again, so, they moved to Nashville. I was talking to them earlier. I have another cousin and their kids in that Ft. Meyers area. They're putting the shutters on the house, preparing to go. I don't think I could have waited that long to leave. It's too close for comfort. Then, Florida has this down to a science, so it'll be ok. I just hope people leave, this sounds like a wicked one. Then, maybe it will turn or diminish.

Last NOAA map showed it moved east, the eye going up Florida on the East Coast...

They show a tropical storm in the Gulf -- Katia -- that appeared out of the blue. Wonder where that came from.

They're coming fast and furious, must be the Russians!

Ribit> If I was in the path of Irma and was going to evacuate Nashville would be closer to my idea of safe than Orlando, but that's just me.

Could be worse . . .
They could have decided to evacuate to your house.
Zim. ;-)
