Well, ya both seemed to be getting a bit defensive. But you're 100% right, perception is not necessarily reality.

Hear you on prepping. Nothing wrong with that. I have friends who went as far as canning their own food (in jars). My favorite of your projects is the fruit trees.

Let's hope it doesn't go that far. Given these reports from FL, looks like a good idea to get more than a months supplies. Understood that you mean far longer. I submit that deer and fish will be gone in no time...

If you're sensing anger or even annoyance in something I wrote, then you're perceiving something that isn't there. It's easy to misinterpret brief written messages. In that respect, they're inferior to things said aloud.

That said, I've spent a lot of money on "prepping" and it IS something I take seriously. When I talk about a disaster that's going to kill people, I'm not kidding. I'd hate for it to happen to you guys. I *like* you. Well, most of you (since there are some twits on the other board who I won't lose any sleep over.) lol...
