Meanwhile, I think it's time for Social Security numbers to be scrapped and replaced by something better. It shouldn't be possible for someone with a little information to claim that he's me and get away with it. Two factor authentication requires TWO of the following before identity is established: Something you have (i.e. a badge), something you know (i.e. a password), something you are (i.e. fingerprints.)

It's time to replace our obsolete personal security.

...but then ya gonna have people screaming about "National ID Cards" Im not going to monkey around with any names!

Sure. Because whoever stole my address, DOB and SS # won't care about that information anymore once a year is up, and won't be patient enough to wait to try to steal from me.

Equifax owes everyone credit and identity protection for LIFE.
