...a neighbor of mine had a problem with NAPA selling him the wrong plugs for a 4.3 litre chevy v6. The plugs were just a tiny bit too long and did some kind of internal damage to the engine. Had to replace the whole 'upper' whatever that is.

Micro - when tapping the heads - instead of oiling the tap, you use grease (a moly works well) to capture all the metal shards. Go slow, pull the tap out after each quarter turn, repeat till done. It can be done.
