Hi Zim,

Fascinating, I didn't have any problems, except I had to upgrade a driver for my printer. I don't have music, so I didn't have that issue.

Then, I installed Win 10 PRO, not the one you installed.

What is that dog magical assistant thing? I never heard of that. . . .

Well, you're good at PC stuff, so enjoy Win 7!

Lkorrow> Zim, Not sure if the free upgrade is still around, but Win 10 Pro gives you the option to wait on updates and it's the most stable release I've ever been on.

I'm sure I still have Win-10 on an extra hard drive
around here somewhere . . .

But windoze 10 was the BIGGEST pain in the rump of
a windoze O.S. I have ever had to deal with.

First off it would not install 'automagically' like it
was supposed to . . . when I was finally able to install
it I had none of the games I was used to playing nor would
it play the music I have stored (many gigabytes worth).
The dogs magical assistant wanted to do all sorts of stupid
things for me . . .

The last straw was when it decided it was going to shut
down to do updates regardless of what I was doing.
