zim,

Oh, right, Cortana. I got some messages and turned it off. Don't ask me how, I've been running this awhile.

When I hear your issues, I can only say thank goodness I didn't run into too many problems, as Win XP was killing me, correction, the last one was Win 8. I really do believe they sabotage systems to get you to move on, because every single time they came out with a new release, I had trouble with the old one. Update: I really liked XP, but it went south.

The thing I like best with Win 10 is it manages memory better. I currently have 79 tabs open on 6 open Chrome windows. I just counted and it shocked me!

Now that you mention it, my few songs (est 10) disappeared except in one ancient backup file. I don't even try to find them anymore. I thought someone hacked me and deleted them, so I'm happy that didn't happen.

I find itunes user interface to be absolutely horrific, I have problems every time I try and use it. I do iphone backups and have no clue if my contacts are being backed up or anything else except apps. Apple's behind the curve. That said, I wouldn't mind having an ipad to read books on and backup the iphone. But that's not happening, can't afford it.
