USE an APP called WAZE on yer phone....
It gives you detours around heavily congested areas. The incidents reported are from other WAZE users who were on that same stretch of road before you.
Better than the Garmin in that respect. It is LIVE from other drivers..
ribit, mine supposedly does that (ps it was my 1st real GPS). I've had it several years. It told me twice that road conditions ahead were congested, would I like it to plan an alternate route. Suuuure and sit on unknown side roads for hours? Just gave me agita that I'd be sitting in traffic. The road was the usual.
