I like snakes ('ceptin the two legged vermin).

If mowing, and see a snake (other than a rattler,moccasin, copperhead, or coral snake) - will stop, pick it up, and move it to a safe spot. Same with lizards.

The one that gives me problems is the coral snake. Can never call to mind that rhyme about black,red, white to distinguish them from rat snakes, which are non-poisonous.

Snakes are very good at keeping the varmits down.

My dogs however, are another matter. They kill snakes - all kinds. *w*
