I was out grilling, this past Sunday evening, and when I opened the sliding glass door to let the canine member of our family back in the house, a lizard landed on his back (must've dropped off the wall somewhere above him) and it was carried into the house ... where, of course, it promptly jumped off. A few comical minutes ensued before I managed to corral the little bugger. From what I could tell, it wasn't harmed in the capture, so I dropped it back in the yard. I am perfectly content to share my yard with the lizards, too ... they keep the insect population down.
