Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!

re: "I have NO use for this fella anymore,,,,,,,,,,,,"

A lot of folks I know, including my wife, think he's great. I've never cared for him.

It's not because of his race. As performers, I like Bill Cosby, Denzel Washington, Forest Whitaker, Sidney Poitier, Laurence Fishburne, Wesley Snipes, Cuba Gooding Jr., etc. But not Morgan Freeman. He's just too monochromatic: "I'm Morgan Freeman. I'm a wise, sensible intellectual who never loses his cool or makes any mistakes."

And there, ladies and gentlemen, we have every role Morgan Freeman has played in the last twenty years.

To me, he is eye-rollingly dull.

It has nothing to do with who he REALLY is - a racist extremist and standout Hollywood a$$hole. I only learned of that in the last two years. It came as quite a surprise, too. Ironically, he's probably a much more interesting person in real life than he ever portrays on TV or in the movies . . . not that I'd much care for THAT version of Morgan Freeman either.
