He never considered himself a hero. Most guys who do things like that generally are just so focused on their goal they do not realize the extreme danger to their own lives they have puut themselves into. In harms way to save others.

The very definition of a hero... Caring not about oneself, but loves his brothers, his friends more than himself.....

I do hope I get to meet him in heaven some day....

...if ya had asked ed about it he woulda probably said he was just doing his job. Folks who do things like this are usually humble and are not doing it for glory or prestige. It's just their job or duty. Hats off to ed.
