What I just learned about the Trump admin should make you VERY concerned
I remember the old Abbott and Costello comedy skit about who’s on first. Even to this day it’s still a hoot and can bring a smile to one’s face.
However, there is a different twist on this called, “who’s running the National Security Council?” and it’s no laughing matter.
One of the pressing issues I find rather disconcerting that hasn’t been rectified by the Trump administration is the designation of the 1928 former granddaddy of Islamic jihadist groups, the Muslim Brotherhood, as a terrorist organization. I mean how hard can it be, just a signature on an executive order, and voila, it’s done. And then we can start to dismantle the organization whose strategic memorandum written in 1991 by Mohammed Akram details its goals, “civilizational jihad”, and its means — the list of sub-organizations here in America. So, why has this not been done? After all, it’s just a matter of a recommendation from President Trump’s National Security Adviser, LTG H.R. McMaster.
Perhaps there is some light to be shed on this, and could help us understand who is indeed on first, second, and third base in the National Security Council.
As reported by Family Security Matters, “In a recent meeting between an Israeli delegation and members of the National Security Council (NSC) scheduled to discuss the extreme threat Hezbollah represents to the Jewish State, the Israelis expressed alarm at the presence of McMaster appointee, Mustafa Javed Ali.
Ali has been described by a senior member of the Trump administration as being opposed to Hezbollah’s designation as a terrorist organization, despite the fact that the group has been so designated by the State Department since 1997 and been responsible for worldwide terrorist attacks, including several against the U.S.
Last month, Mustafa Javed Ali barred Ayaan Hirsi Ali from giving a scheduled presentation on Islamic terrorism at the NSC based on his assessment that she was “Islamophobic.” He announced the ONLY condition under which Ms. Ali’s speech could proceed: “Someone from CAIR would have to come in to refute her work.” CAIR, the Council on American Islamic Relations, was designated as an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest terrorism funding trial in U.S. history – the Holy Land Foundation Hamas-funding trial of 2008. In 2014, the United Arab Emirates listed CAIR as a terrorist group.”
In simple to understand vernacular,“Houston, we have a problem here.”
Why would ANYONE in President Trump’s NSC be against the designation of Hezbollah as an Islamic terrorist group? First of all, Hezbollah was responsible for the 1983 Beirut barracks bombing that killed some 238 Marines, Sailors, and Soldiers.
Secondly, Hezbollah is the proxy Islamic terrorist army of the number one state sponsor of Islamic terror, Iran.
Furthermore, what kinda chucklehead would block Ayaan Hirsi Ali from addressing the NSC, and codify her speaking by having a known Hamas, Muslim Brotherhood affiliated group such as CAIR anywhere near our National Security Council?
But, the real question is this ladies and gents, what level of stupid does one have to be to appoint said individual to our National Security Council as a “counter-terrorism expert?” I will tell you, it is a special kind of YGTBSM stupid, and it appears that aptly describes President Trump’s National Security Adviser LTG H.R. McMaster.
See, Mustafa Javed Ali, appointed by McMaster, is the former diversity outreach coordinator for CAIR, ya know, that unindicted co-conspirator in the nation’s largest Islamic terrorism funding case, the Holy Land Foundation trial that took place here in Texas. The same CAIR that our own FBI severed ties with due to their complications and relationships with Islamic jihadist organizations, namely Hamas via the Muslim Brotherhood. And this is who is sitting in on our NSC and in a meeting with our ally Israel over Hezbollah?
Ok, it appears the Obama administration lied about and enjoyed wiretapping and conducting surveillance on the incoming Trump administration. I’m wondering who is monitoring this Mustafa fella? And I am now coming to understand why we don’t have an executive order designating the damn Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization — the jackasses are on our National Security Council!
Who’s running the Trump National Security Council? Who’s overseeing McMaster? It should be White House Chief of Staff General Kelly, who was the Homeland Security Secretary….you gonna tell me that having this guy Mustafa on our NSC is not a homeland security concern?
Here are some concerns about LTG H.R. McMaster reported by the Daily Wire:
McMaster has been purging Trump allies from the NSC while keeping holdovers from the Obama administration. The fact is that their firings have helped enshrine Barack Obama’s foreign policy blunders. The Washington Free Beacon reported on, “The Trump staffers fired by McMaster had repeatedly clashed with career government staffers and holdovers from the Obama administration on issues as diverse as military strategies for Syria and Afghanistan, whether to tear up Obama’s landmark Iran deal, the controversial détente with Cuba, the U.S. role in confronting Islamic radicalism, and the Paris Climate Accord.”
Meanwhile, McMaster has kept Obama holdovers on board the NSC, including four people who directly worked for Ben Rhodes, Barack Obama’s former deputy national security advisor who gloated about lying to the media about the Iran deal. McMaster has even absurdly stated that “there’s no such thing as a holdover.” An anonymous source told the Free Beacon that McMaster “didn’t want anyone pointing out how Obama loyalists were still in place, undermining President Trump, and leaking against him.” McMaster granted former National Security Advisor Susan Rice a top security clearance. McMaster has made statements and conducted actions that reflect an anti-Israel slant.
The Daily Wire’s Hank Berrien reported the following regarding McMaster and Israel:
1. McMaster has referred to Israel as “illegitimate” and that it’s an “occupying power.”
2. McMaster pushed for Trump to attend the Western Wall without the presence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
3. McMaster quashed a joint project with Israel to disrupt the Iran-Hezbollah alliance.
4. McMaster favors the Iran deal.
5. McMaster won’t recognize the Western Wall as belonging to Israel. When Israel started using metal detectors at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in response to the murder of two Israeli police officers by Palestinian terrorists, McMaster viewed it as “just another excuse by the Israelis to repress the Arabs.”
Who’s running President Trump’s National Security Council? It’s very obvious: someone not in keeping with what President Trump supporters believed they had voted for. The pressing question that must be answered: is this acceptable to President Trump, because this is indicative of a swamp not being drained. And for those of you wondering about the issue of LTG H.R. McMaster having communications with one George Soros…the answer is yes, via email, and not government email.
