What is the difference in free speech and the 1st Amendment being disregarded, when attacking Kapernick and students at UCLA who are not allowing Bannon, Coulter, and their ilk to speak there?

None.

That is why America is losing it. We are divided in factions who call each other abusers of the Constitution, because they both disregard it and or do not understand it as they go about their way condemning each others' free speech rights, because they do not like that speech.

Without free speech, we are a third world shithole.

Smerconish has a guy who did a study of college students about free speech, and it basically shows that they do not understand the first amendment, at all. Political correctness is crap.

But, they are not the only ones with totalitarian views. The republicans who want to send racists and others up from the woodwork to Congress, so they can have it their way or the highway, also belong to that totalitarian breeze that’s blowing through the country.

The current push to pass this abomination of repealing Obamacare with just 51 votes, no debate, no amendments, nothing is a perfect example. Whoever does it, dem or republican, it’s wrong. In hindsight, Reed’s undoing the 60 vote rule for judges, brought on the Turtles undoing the 60 vote rule for Supreme Court judges, and down we go from there.

This country doesn’t need any of that. The cretins are prime example of how people get played by websites that agree with them, and feed them mostly fake news and conspiracies that in the end become “reality” by sheer repetition.

The fact that Trump got elected against any norms of what a President of the United States has to rise to, is evidence of Americans having lost that compass that has made us the most powerful nation in the world since WWII.

It is not sustainable. I used to think that this here was an oasis from how the Greeks did things, fighting each other at every step, which they still do, instead of looking to get ahead by ironing out their differences and pushing hard foreward. Instead they just fight, each other. Same as here now. We are on a black or white path, and it will destroy us.

No good will come of this.

GUARANTEED!
