OH NO, MICRO, I ANSWERED YOUR POST IN GREAT DEPTH AND SOMEHOW I LOST IT. I HAVE LOOKED EVERYWHERE, EVEN UNDER MY DESK.

I APPRECIATE THE LENGTHY REPLY AND ADMIRE YOUR DAUGHTER VERY MUCH.

I WANT TO CATCH UP FROM YESTERDAY WHEN I HAD TO LEAVE SUDDENLY. I USED TO WATCH LINDA TRY AND CATCH UP WHEN SHE WAS OTHERWISE ENGAGED, AND SHE JUST COULDN'T DO IT.

NEITHER CAN I !!

THANK YOU AGAIN. I WAS JUST TRYING TO MAKE A POINT THAT NOT ALL TEACHERS ARE LIBERAL BRAINWASHERS, ALTHOUGH THERE ARE MANY, AND THAT IT USED TO BE A CAREER THAT WAS RESPECTED BY MANY.

ARE WE INFLUENCING THE YOUTH OF TODAY BY SAYING, "OH, THAT TEACHER IS REALLY GOING TO GET IT!"

IF THE ADULTS DON'T RESPECT THE TEACHERS, THE POLICE, THE BOSS, THEN THEIR CHILDREN WON'T, EITHER.


If you think education is expensive, try ignorance.

Kathy, I agree with all you said. It is
not all the teachers fault. In fact, the
teachers are doing what they are told to
do. Too many people in todays world do not
think that the Three 'R's are important.
Kids are taught how to follow the new rules,
not think for themselves. One thing that
really bugs me is that a college education
is a much lower level than a high school
education from the way back. And kids are
not taught how to think for themselves but
what they should think. AND much of the
problem does have to do with welfare. Kids
are no longer taught to take care of
themselves but to be supplied with their
needs by the government.
