We have seen a rapid coarsening of this country every since 1992, when William Jefferson Clinton was elected to office despite his well publicized disrespect of women and the law. His wife, however, contributed even more than he with her vile and criminal attacks and harassment of her husband's prey.
And many in this country turned a blind eye to this total lack of respect for other human beings.
And that is what it boils down to - A lack of respect for other Human Beings permeates our society today.
That is the very predictable outcome of the disrespect for HUMAN LIFE that was introduced into our society BY OUR GOVERNMENT in 1973 by a demonic Supreme Court in the Roe v. Wade abortion of a 'decision'.
When the highest court in the Land does not respect human life, is it any wonder that so many others also show total lack of respect for other human beings.
LBJ certainly helped pave the way with the 'Great Society' - which resulted in black males leaving their families in droves due to the 'requirements' of the 'welfare state'. The loss of a father figure in a family was but one side of that disaster.
The other side is that, without the guiding hand of the authority of a father, Respect for ANY parental authority was completely undermined.
Destroy respect for human life - destroy respect for any human being, destroy all the authority legitimately wielded in our society.
So your observation about 'lack of respect', is spot on - and much broader than generally recognized.
