I'm greatly disappointed to read that the robber survived. I might have donated some money to this young lady except for that.

Important lesson here, folks: When you defend yourself with a gun, continue firing until the gun is empty or the threat is ELIMINATED. There's no excuse for adding another scumbag to our overcrowded prison system.

Jennifer Wertz was fired from her position at a Circle K gas station in Albuquerque after shooting Ferron Mendez as he attempted to rob her.
