...never wanted to be a rich cop. Wasn't much afraid of getting killed. Biggest concern was that I might do my job somewhere and get crucified on the cross of political expediency. Going into the cop bidness right out of Vietnam might not have been a good idea. I think a lot of the cop problems today might be cause there are a lot of cops coming right out of the military and have a tendency to treat their fellow americans like prisoners of war.
Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!
