In a related story: I'm told that the corner pieces (I've forgotten their name) for my barn were poured yesterday. At least, they were supposed to be, and I haven't heard otherwise.

That might sound like a little thing, but it's a major milestone.

I should receive some photos soon. I'll post 'em when they come in.

I had hoped to have the barn FINISHED before I retired so that I'd have a place to put all my junk. As it is, I'm going to have to further pile up the crap in my packed-to-the-gills New Hampshire garage and stick it out for six months or so until the barn is completed in late 2018.

It won't be easy. My 3-bay garage already looks like a pretty full storage unit. Maybe I should just buy an industrial trash compactor and use it to make some more room... Sad
