I graduated from high school in 1963 and every high school in the Atlanta area had a school rifle team. Actual rifles, actual ammo, homicides? ZERO! If one of the guys got a new gun for Christmas or birthday he could bring it to school to show the principle.
Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!
Yeah - it's been a long time - and things have definitely changed. Been a while since I've been out and about in God's Country. Even when I was in high school out there, the kids that drove in from the ranches and farms had their long guns in the racks - and they were pretty safe. Those days are probably gone forever.
