my son in law's father was muslim De. He shaved every day of his life.
He wasn't a practicing renegade Muslim. He was as normal as anyone else. Small in stature. He was from Turkey.
Came here as a teenager to attend college. Was selected by his country to come and study and he was supposed to return. Well, he never returned.... Did graduate from University of Tennessee with an engineering degree in Industrial Engineering.
When he died a couple years ago from cancer, he was buried as a Christian and is in a cemetery nearby.
So, when his brothers came here to attend the wedding I met them. NONE were bearded Goat herders. They looked clean shaven and were very cordial and nice.
They lived about 40 miles north of Ankara and had a business.
Anyway, I would not let the shaving thing be a determining factor.....
