Yeah, Manchester's real, they even have a small house that serves as a Rockwell museum. It's beautiful in that area and there's a small river at the bottom of their property, across the road. A covered bridge connects to a road to a little village with the typical church with a white steeple. On Memorial weekend, they have a canoe and raft race that ends at the bridge.

Manchester's also the home of the Equinox hotel, a beautiful place with a great restaurant.

A real advantage for us was it's fairly close to the NY border, easy for my friends who lived in CT and me to get to.

There's a Manchester in New Hampshire too. I figured you made a mistake, but I googled "Manchester Vermont" and learned that there is such a place.

The two are only 129 miles apart!

One thing about those Puritans: They sure weren't very creative when it came to naming things.
