Bama looked incredible at times yesterday. The Dawgs as well.
That said, jmo, Bama should have had a much larger point spread than they did against a weak team like that..
Still, Bama deserves its number 1 ranking. No question.
I think Georgia is number 2. Right now, and Penn State is 3.
At least until the Buckeyes kick them out of it.
Still not buying TCU as a top five team, but only because they ain't been beaten yet I would slot them in at number 4 and Ohio State should be at number 5.
I believe that offense has finally gotten untracked. They scored at will against Nebraska and made it look easy.
Similar to Bama in its run game, QB scrambling, and it's passing game is now in full gear.... Urban apparently told the Offensive coordinator to get it going or look for another job.
So the Penn State game October 28 will shed a lot of light on how good these teams are.
II think Wisconsin has a strong team, not a great team. Penn State will beat them. If not, the Buckeyes will.
The PAC 12 just laid an egg. Good teams, all vulnerable and parity .... NOTHING dominant....
Clemson goes to number 9 or 10 after that egg.
Not just beaten, Beaten by a nobody. Little sister of the poor....
Until they get beat, Wisconsin should be ranked around the number 6 or 7 spot.
Lot of way to go yet. Bama showing its dominance and legitimacy. Georgia looking to dethrone them and still strong.
